Seamless Pipes & Tubes
The seamless pipes and tubes offered by us are widely
appreciated, owing to their dimensional accuracy, high strength,
corrosion resistance and durability. For manufacturing these pipes and
tubes, we procure mother tubes or hollows from leading suppliers from
India and abroad that are directed to a thorough chemical analysis and
strict physical/mechanical tests. The mother tube are subsequently
cold-drawn on the benches with determined precise and force. The OD of
the tube is thereby reduced by tension through a die and a fixed or
floating plug, to get a precise mechanical dimensions and a uniform
surface finish.
These tubes are then subjected to various process like annealing,
pickling, passivation, hydro testing, polishing, inspection, marking
before packing and dispatching to the clients.

Annealing
Annealing, or heat treatment, of the tube is carried out in fully
automated conveyor. It consists of heating the tubes to a specified
temperature and immediate quenching in circulating water thereafter.
Straightening
After the annealing operation, the tubes are straightened with a
straightening machine. In addition to giving a high degree of
starightness, the tubes are also rounded up during the operation.
Polishing
The excellent properties of Stainless Steel Tubes and Pipes, including
their high aesthetic & hygienic value, low maintenance and high
durability, has led to an increased demand for polished tubes and pipes
in architecture, general engineering, dairy & food-processing
sectors, among others.
To meet such demands for high-quality externally polished tubes and
pipes, Scorodite is equipped with a state-of-the-art polishing machine.
A range of finishes, from 120 grit up to mirror finish, is made
available as per customer's requirement.
