- Continuous production from coil
- Production from single sheet metal plates
During continuous production from coil, the basic material can be formed into a tube, welded, heat-treated, calibrated finish. These can also be subjected to nondestructive tests in a single operation, i.e. in-line.
With effective utilization of this process, we can produce tubes in:
- Sizes ranging from OD 1.5" - 16" (48,3 mm - 406,4 mm)
- Production lengths of up to 18 m (without round welds)
- With wall thicknesses between 0,05" and 0,25" (1,5 mm - 6,3 mm)
Production of tubes from sheet-metal plates: We also hold expertise in manufacturing tubes using sheet-metal plates. These can be made available in:
- Diameter of 6" (168,3 mm) upwards
- Wall thicknesses of up to 0,8" (20 mm)
Other Facilities:
- Die-type bending presses and three-roll bending machines that allow shaping of single plate in rounded forms
- Longitudinal seam is automatically welded in further operations
- Up to OD 4" (114,3 mm) of tubes can be generally bright-annealed
- Those over OD 4" (114,3 mm) are supplied in pickled/heat-treated and pickled finish
- The main welding methods used are TIG and TIG plasma
